High Efficiency
Cleanburning of the fuel is achieved by controlling the air as it flows through, and moves within, the stove. The airflow is very responsive, which allows the stove to heat up quickly, and a heat output of about 5kW for the CB5 and about 7kW for the CB7 is rapidly and readily achieved. At up to 78% efficient under CE test conditions, CB stoves are arguably the most efficient stoves on the market.
Optional Use
With easy lighting and rapid response, the high heat outputs are reached in the minimum of time making CleanBurn stoves particularly suitable for occasional use, in situations such as weekend retreats or holiday homes.
As well as being designed for occasional use, by reducing the airflow to a minimum, CB stoves can remain alight and gently smoulder throughout the night for continuous use. When required, the rapid and responsive air movement instantly fires the stove back into life.
Natural Convection
Air is heated as it crosses the hottest parts of the stove and radiated out into the room as Natural Convection.
Hot Airwash
Hot air passes down behind the doors keeping the glass clean and easy to see through.
Primary Air
Primary air is drawn into the combustion chamber through the bottom air-vent, forced through the fire-bed, ensuring maximum fuel combustion and resulting in very high efficiency.
Heat Recouper
The innovative heat récouper controls the flow of the products of combustion through the top of the stove and increases the 'residence time'. This reduces heat loss up the chimney and results in a significant increase in output efficiency.
Secondary Air
Secondary air is drawn up through the twin-walled back plate into the top of the stove for hot air-wash.
Mutilfuiel Grate
The integral multi-fuel grate allows for optimum burning conditions for both woodburning and the burning of coal. With the simple movement of an external lever, the grate can be open for burning solid fuel or in the closed position, the optimum for burning wood.
Easy Riddling
By simply moving the external lever backwards and forwards, which moves the grate open and closed, the stove riddles safely with the minimum of effort. This is undertaken with the doors closed and is completely safe and dust free.
Options
Depending on the situation, CleanBurn stoves may be either rear-flued or flued from the top of the stove. With a choice of door options, colours and leg lengths, the CB stoves sit comfortably in either contemporary or more traditional room settings.
